CCIM
Certified Commercial Investment Member The Certified Commercial Investment Member is recognized as the best in the business. The CCIM designation is known for its unparalleled level of education and is often referred to as the Ph.D of commercial real estate. Currently there are approximately 125,000 commercial real estate practitioners in the U.S., only six percent of which have achieved the CCIM designation. The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International Foundation is an independent, tax-exempt organization (501(c) 3) dedicated to sponsoring and encouraging innovative research and educational activities that advance the commercial real estate industry and profession. The Foundation is affiliated with the Building Owners and Managers Association International, the nation's oldest and largest commercial real estate organization.
ICSC
Founded in 1957, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is the global trade association of the shopping center industry. Its 50,000 members in the U.S., Canada and more than 80 other countries include shopping center owners, developers, managers, marketing specialists, investors, lenders, retailers and other professionals as well as academics and public officials. As the global industry trade association, ICSC links with more than 25 national and regional shopping center councils throughout the world.
CIPS
Members of the CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) Network are crucial players in today's global real estate market. The CIPS designation recognizes members who have achieved the necessary training and experience to work successfully with international clients and properties. To earn the CIPS designation, REALTORS® complete rigorous coursework devoted to learning cultural differences and international business practices.
